Cookie Policy

The short version

We use as little as we can get away with. Nothing that identifies you is stored for advertising, and we do not share anything with ad networks. Analytics runs without cookies at all — which is why there is no cookie banner: nothing optional is stored, so there is nothing to ask your consent for.

Strictly necessary — always on

These make the site work. They cannot be switched off, and under the ePrivacy rules they do not require consent.

Sign-in tokens, stored in your browser so you stay logged in between visits. Clearing them logs you out.

Your 18+ confirmation, stored on your device so the age splash does not appear on every page. This is a flag saying the confirmation happened — it holds no personal detail.

Your language preference, set on first visit so the site loads in the right language.

If you answered the cookie banner we showed before September 2026: your stored answer, kept only so an acceptance you gave then is still honored. You can clear it at any time — see below.

Analytics — cookieless for everyone

We use PostHog and Google Analytics to understand which features get used, so we know what to improve. Both run in a cookieless mode: they count usage in aggregate, set no cookie, and do not persist an identifier across sessions. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell what they collect.

One exception, for honesty: if you accepted the cookie banner this site showed before September 2026, that stored acceptance still lets analytics keep an identifier across visits. Clear it in Settings and you are in the same cookieless mode as everyone else.

What we do not use

No advertising cookies. No third-party tracking pixels. No social-network share buttons that phone home. No cross-site profiling, and no data brokers.

Clearing an old choice

If you accepted the earlier banner, you can withdraw that at any time under Clear cookie choice in Settings. You can also clear everything through your browser, which will sign you out and bring back the age splash.
